Understanding the rules for the interpretation of basic respiratory tests necessary to qualify patients for rehabilitation programs and to monitor the effectiveness of physiotherapy in respiratory diseases. Etiopathogenesis of the most common respiratory diseases and methods of their assessment for the needs of physiotherapy. Understanding the basic units of respiratory diseases that are the most common reason for referring patients to physiotherapy (asthma, COPD, pneumonia, bronchiectasis, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, cystic fibrosis, respiratory failure, interstitial lung diseases, sleep apnea syndrome, pleural effusion, lung cancer). Preparation of the patient and physiotherapy in patients qualified for thoracic surgery. Plans of rehabilitation programs and how to evaluate them. The use of additional tests (eg spirometry, bronchoscopy, 6MWT, arterial blood gas test ).
